What the six cards below actually do
- Generate. A tailored CV, a cover letter, career advice, or a combination, written from your CV or profile against one advert. The CV runs to about two pages, the letter to one as a formal UK business letter. A CV is 1.45 credits, a letter one, advice 1.75, all three 4.2.
- CV review. Five to fifteen findings on one CV against one advert, each quoting the line that triggered it, with a severity and category. No score, no percentage match. One credit.
- Career profile. Your experience stored once across six weighted sections, reused by every generation. Importing from a CV is free the first time. A refresh afterwards is one credit.
- Applications. A manual tracker: five statuses, a pipeline view, basic analytics. You type every entry yourself. Free.
- Goals. AI-suggested goals with dated milestones, editable by hand.
- Courses. Listings ingested from affiliate networks and tagged automatically. Inclusion is not an endorsement. Free to browse.
If you only do one thing today
Start with CV review, even if you are confident the CV is fine. It is the cheapest way to find out whether the version you have been sending answers the advert you have been sending it to, and it costs one credit against five free every month. What carries from one tool to the next
The reason for six tools rather than six tabs is that the evidence moves between them. A career profile built once feeds every CV and letter you generate. A review's findings can be turned into questions, and your answers feed the tailored rewrite instead of being typed twice. An application you save keeps the job description attached to it.
That last one matters, because interview practice is not a card here. It opens from an application you have already saved, turns that saved advert into eight written questions, scores what you type and shows a sample answer. There is no mock interview and no voice practice. Nothing here applies for a job, imports a vacancy or submits anything for you.

Which tool should I start with?
CV review, unless you have no CV at all. It costs one credit, it shows you the CV the way a stranger reads it, and its findings can be turned into the questions a tailored rewrite is then built from. Starting with the generator means rewriting a document nobody has examined yet.
What is free and what costs credits?
The applications tracker and the courses listings are free, because there is no AI in either of them. Generation, CV review, a career profile refresh and goal suggestions all cost credits. Every account gets five free credits every month, renewing automatically, with no card needed to start.
Does Career Auntie apply to jobs for me?
No. The tracker is manual: you type in the company, the role, the status, the dates and your notes. Nothing is imported from a job board and nothing is submitted on your behalf. The five statuses are applied, interview, offer, rejected and withdrawn, and you set them yourself.
Can I practise interviews out loud?
No. Interview preparation is written practice only, and it is reached from an application you have already saved rather than from a page of its own. It draws questions from that saved advert, scores what you type and shows a sample answer. There is no mock interview, no microphone and no video.
What happens to the CV and job descriptions I paste in?
They are handled under Career Auntie's published privacy policy. Uploads are PDF or Word .docx up to 5MB and 50 pages, a CV is capped at 20,000 characters for review and generation, and a job description at 10,000. A scanned PDF is rejected, because there is no text in it to read.
What do the paid plans cost?
Premium is £10 a month for 200 credits. Top-up credits are £1 per 10, minimum 30, and they do not expire. Unlimited is billed every three months and is subject to fair use of 45 credits per UTC day and 1,350 per 30 days. Credits are taken when you submit, not when the output arrives.
